Getting around
Taichung has BRT-style rapid transit and a solid bus network for downtown sights. Scooter rental or YouBike is ideal for flexible exploring.
Best time to visit
Pleasant most of the year. Autumn through early spring (Oct–Feb) is especially comfortable. Summer is warmer, but indoor attractions stay enjoyable.
Suggested itineraries
- Daytime: Shenji New Village, Calligraphy Greenway, and nearby cafés.
